30 Days of Prayer — “Together”

First Baptist Church is in week one of 30 Days of Prayer “Together.” Some observations so far:

“Together” for us this week is probably more about us praying in the same direction. We are using the prayer guide and are praying things related to the mission of the church. I’m excited to see us journey in prayer “together” Acts 2:42.

While my prayers are more focused lately, I’m anticipating more group praying in the next couple of weeks. I hope to see Life Groups calling special times of prayer “together.” I am convinced the church is often powerless because we fail to pray together as the church did in Acts.

I’m trusting in the filling of the Holy Spirit as we pray together (Acts 4:31). When we sing to the glory of God, read His word, and pray (praise) Him together, He will bless us with His presence.

My prayer for you as that you commit to this “season” and glorify God in your prayer life. Our lives should be our prayer lives. They are not separate.
